In my opinion, Venus Boy may be the greatest science fiction novel that most modern fans have never read. 2015 marked the 60th anniversary of a great book. Shortly after the original publication, the magazine Fantasy and Science Fiction named it the best children’s science fiction book of the year. It was the only book Lee Sutton every wrote and it was a masterpiece. The book made quite an impression on me as a child. I still remembered it fondly decades later and wanted to buy a copy for my own children to read. However, it is out of print, and old copies cost hundreds of dollars, when you can find them. At the time of this posting, there is one selling on Amazon for $375 and four available on Abebooks ranging from $355 to $775. I wanted to bring this book back to all who are interested, not just for wealthy collectors. Thanks to the families of the original author and illustrator, the 60th anniversary edition is now available on Amazon as an ebook. It includes a forward by the author’s daughter and several new original illustrations that were provided by the family of the author and the illustrator. Hopefully the release of the kindle edition of the book will give a new generation of readers the same pleasure the book brought me.

Venus Boy is available in both high quality paperback and e-book formats.
